Nangpa La (elevation 5,806m (19,050 ft)) is a VERY high mountain pass between Nepal and China, a few kilometres west of Cho Oyu and about 30 km (20 miles) northwest of Mount Everest in Himalayas. This pass is the main trade route between the Tibetans and the Sherpas of Khumbu.
